Sizzling hot July 18, 2011 and I have a new website!

Can't believe so much time has gone by since I last posted. Not a good thing, but one can only do so much in a day, even if you do stay up late and get up early!

My good friend, Mary Susan and I have created a new website to display our talents and what you see is available for purchase.

Mary Susan has her "Tree Art and More" which are very artistic custom made cards from her photography. You can choose from a selection of message inserts if you would like also. The cards are blank and of course come with a matching envelope.

I have several categories of photographs which can be purchased in the size you desire right from the website and will be shipped to you directly. They can be color, black & white, sepia, and with a request in an email to me they can be printed on metal, canvas, and there are a number of other options available.

Hope you have time to check our website. New products are going onto it nearly daily.  Here is the address:   http://www.artisticphotosby.com

That is where a lot of my time has gone along with updating one of my clients websites. In between those two big items, I have enjoyed some time with my granddaughter Kayla visiting us and puttering around in my flower garden.

Hope you are having a great summer. Keep in touch...

What have you imagined? Did you pursue it and achieve it?

"I am enough of an artist to draw freely upon my imagination. Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world."
Albert Einstein

I have a magnet on my file cabinet with a portion of the above quote it says: "Imagination is more important than knowledge."  And over the years I have adopted the quote below from Albert Einstein.

"Never memorize something that you can look up."
Albert Einstein

My thought and philosophy of the two quotes are...with Imagination and then the ability to Look up what information you need to accomplish what you Imagine you are ahead of the game and ahead of many others! There is no limit to what one can Imagine!

I have found there is a bit of a glitch to the second quote. Figuring out where to look up what you want. Sometimes that takes some time. Still, overall the philosophy works...and who am I to contradict Albert Einstein!

What are your opinions? What have you imagined and then pursued? How did that work for you? I welcome your comments here on the blog. Click on the "comment" below on the right.

Thanks for your comments everyone!

There are more things I want to do with this blog and will just as soon as I figure out how to do it!They say if you keep learning new things that is just the excercise our brains needed...I can't afford anymore brain cells to die...after all I am a natural blond, I NEVER got any wisdom teeth (not even one) so I already have several counts against me!

Spring is certainly a wet one this year. We have rain every weekend which makes it hard to get out and enjoy it. Not really complaining though compared to the destruction the weather has done in the mid-west. By the way, those three photos of flowers that no one knew what they are...they are TULIPS spreading wide for the sun. Gotcha!

Hope you keep looking to see what new developments I am able to figure out. You can write comments on the blog itself.

This is the day!

For some time people have asked me to set up a blog and today is the day! Not that I have a ton of time but it seemed the right time.

The idea is to make it easy for friends to follow how I have been spending my time. This should make it easier to share my photography and as I travel I can post...so does that mean (I hope, I hope) I will be spending less time on email? Is that truly possible? We shall see.

It was a major undertaking to finally get my email down to ONE PAGE! Is that normal? It feels good to me.

I will be on the road again June 8th and hopefully can post some photos and activities on my little one week of travelling.

If any of you have a chance to look at this I would appreciate feedback.
